Black Stone Cherry - Lonely Train

ザクザクしたヘヴィなリフが印象に残るBSC。彼等の 1st「Black Stone Cherry」(06) から " Lonely Train " を私訳。このアルバムを聴いた時、そのソリッドでラウドな音に驚いたけど、意外だったのは歌詞。攻撃的な音とメッセージ性のある歌詞の両立というのは難しいけれど、彼等は非常に上手く構成しています。内容にしてもそれぞれの立場や考え方の断片が綴られていて興味深い。これからどんなアルバムを作るのか非常に楽しみなバンド。
